Post Intervention Counseling and Follow-up
As with anything that is scheduled, life happens! There may be treatment facility delays, friends and family coming from out of town, travel delays, etc. There may even be a day or two delay between scheduling and the initial Intervention Team Consultation.
That is why planning is essential. U Recover will work with you to make the most out of everyone's time and minimize delays or waiting. With an Intervention, time is essential. When the alcoholic or addict says "Yes" to treatment, everything will have been set up and the transition will be quick and as seamless as possible.
The goal of U Recover is to assist your Intervention Team through every step of the Intervention process and work through every possible scenario,
both good and bad, that may occur during the Intervention.
We will work closely alongside you so that there are no surprises and that every step will have been thoroughly thought and planned out.
I have a Masters of Science in Counseling and an international certificate for Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counseling (AADC) through the IC&RC. I am fully insured. I have been working with families with interventions and substance abuse counseling for more than 5 years and have worked side-by-side with individuals in recovery for over 12 years. I feel deeply that addiction is a family issue, a family illness as it effects all members of a family as well as the community. I also believe the best path to success is when family and friends work together and are educated about addiction.
